Booking Conditions

1.   Arriving and leaving:

Arrival time is 16.00 hrs (unless stated otherwise) and departure is by 10.00 hrs. Arrangements will be made for the keys once final payment has been received. Any visitors still at the property by 12.00 hrs on their departure day, without prior permission from the owner, will be liable for one extra day’s charge, as a percentage of the weekly charge.

2.   Pool alarm:

Parents/guardians of children 12 years & under must be aware of Swimming Pool security considerations immediately on arrival and definitely before allowing young children into the swimming pool area. The door to the Pool garden should be kept locked at all times when the pool is not in use. An adult should be present at all times when children under 12 are in the vicinity of the pool. The door to the pool garden must be locked at all times when the pool is not in use, including overnight and when leaving the house.

3.   Maximum occupancy:

The maximum number of people accepted at the property is 14. You must not take any additional people to those on the booking form without the owner’s written consent.  Parking a caravan or pitching a tent in the grounds is not permitted.  Failure to observe these conditions could result in your party being asked to leave the premises.  Pets are accepted if agreed at the time of booking, there is an extra charge of £30 per week, per pet.  They must be well behaved and never left unattended in the property, all pet faeces must be removed from the garden, failure to do this will result in loss of deposit

4.   Cancellations:

Cancellation charges will apply as follows. The party leader must cancel the holiday by e-mail. The charge is calculated from the date that we receive this notification. Cancellation charges are:-

From payment of deposit to more than 60 days   = 25%: 59-0 Days =100%

5.   Damage/Security deposit

A damage deposit of £300 per week or part week of your stay is required at the time of the full balance payment. Charges for damage, breakages, outstanding bills and any extra cleaning required if the property is left in an unacceptable state, will be taken from your damage deposit. Your damage deposit will be refunded to you within 4 weeks of your departure.

6.   Leaving the property in good order:

You, party leader, agree to keep the holiday home clean (including BBQ) and in as good order as at the commencement of your holiday. You also agree to compensate the property owner for any breakages incurred during your holiday. You must also leave the property and furniture in the same arrangement and condition as when you arrive. Basic cleaning between lettings is included in your holiday price, but the owner reserves the right to deduct the cost of any extra cleaning above and beyond this from the damage/security deposit.

7.   Complaints:

If any problems arise regarding the holiday home, then you, the holidaymaker/group leader, must try to resolve them with the owners or the house managers during your stay at the property.

8.   Access to the property:

The owner of the holiday home or his/her representative shall be allowed any reasonable access to the property during the holiday tenancy by appointment except in case of emergency.

9.   Travel Insurance:

All party members should have insurance cover for personal belongings and public liability:  these are not covered by the owners insurance. The owners do not accept any liability for any losses that may be incurred for which insurance is available.

10.  Late Night Parties:  

We have occasionally received complaints from our neighbours about loud music played late into the night.  We ask you please to make sure that excessive noise is reduced after 11pm.

11.  Prices:

Except where otherwise stated, all high season holidays will include electricity and water. However, excessive use of these services could incur an additional charge. These supplies are normally charged as extras during mid and low season rentals. A winter fuel charge of £25 per night will be charged when central heating is required.

12.  Payment:

Payment of the balance of the holiday charge must be made at the latest 60 days before commencement of the holiday. Failure to pay by the due date could lead to holiday cancellation with loss of deposit.

13.  Finally:

The Owners reserve the right to terminate the Tenancy immediately if any of the above conditions are not observed.

 

FOR RETREATS/GROUP BOOKINGS THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ALSO APPLY 

 

1. Arrival and departure times
These should be agreed with the owner when your booking is confirmed. The group leader/teacher should endeavour to arrive with or before their first guests. The group leader is responsible for making agreed departure time clear to each member of the group. Failure to adhere to this may lead to additional charges.  Arrival & departure time for group bookings/retreats is generally 14.00 – however this can be re-arranged depending on your group’s travel plans.

 

2. Access to Pignoulet
The owners and house managers will need full access to Le Pignoulet during your stay, they may be resident on the premises.

 

3. Travel/teaching insurance
It is your responsibility as party leader/teacher to ensure that your insurance allows you to teach/lead any activity you undertake with your party whilst staying at Le Pignoulet. All party members must have their own insurance cover to participate in the activity(s) offered by the party leader/teacher  – this is not covered by the owners insurance, and they do not accept liability for this.

 

4. Prices 
Prices are as confirmed on the booking form – where board basis has been booked and paid for. Any extra meals/house keeping/bed nights/laundry can be negotiated with the owners at extra cost and payable prior to receiving goods/services.
